Tech Specs
Loc8tor's Mini Homing Tag, weighing in at only 5 grams, makes it small and light enough to fit on / in any Flying remote controlled craft. The distance Loc8tor will work across will vary depending on the environment. If the plane is stuck up in a tree and there’s clear line of sight, then you can expect up to 183m / 600 ft range. On the ground, and in corn fields this range will be reduced.
We do not believe a range of miles is needed nor worth the significant extra cost. From listening to our customers, we can summise that most Remote control enthusiasts would know roughly where their Remote control craft has landed. Simply head in that direction with the locate on and as soon as you are in range the handheld will immediately detect and inform which way to go.

"About three weeks ago, my R/C model plane had a midair collision with one belonging to a fellow club member.
